The Credit Union no longer facilitates wire transfers nor do we accept foreign cheques, servicing one’s account from overseas will be via one of the following options:n1. International Postal Order: this allows members to send funds via a post office from another country excluding Great Britain. We encourage our members to have their postal orders accompanied by a note to inform us of the distribution of the funds. There are different types of Postal orders, please ensure that you purchase an International Postal Order.n2. Standing Order from a Commercial Bank: Should a member have an account at a commercial bank in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, he/she may wire the funds to that financial institution. After he/she has completed the wire transfer, you may arrange for a standing order to be made between the bank and GECCU. This standing order is a monthly transfer which may last for several months based on the amount wired at any one time.
