The GECCU family is deeply saddened by the passing of a former credit union volunteer – Sis. Ercelle John-Thomas.

Sis. Ercelle John-Thomas served GECCU faithfully as a member of the Credit Committee from September 2000 – May 2007. When her tenure on the Credit Committee ended, Sis. John-Thomas, a former teacher, assisted in proof reading the minutes and reports of the credit union’s Annual General Meetings.

Her legacy outside of the cooperative movement is vast, however, we take this time to pay homage to her voluntary spirit and remain forever grateful for her contribution to this noble institution.

May light perpetual shine upon her and may her soul rest in peace.
